Would you like an activity for your child to complete during their snow days this week?
As a review activity, the students can play the Adjective and Adverb Quizizz game. The students are reviewing how to use adjectives and adverbs correctly in their writing. Here are the steps to play the review game.

Warm Up: Sort the cards on your desk into nouns, verbs, and adjectives. Lesson: After the warm up, we checked their card sort activity. Then the students read their iRead books and hunted for adjectives. They made a list of adjectives in their notebook. Homework: Finish adjective wordle Warm Up: None Lesson: Today we reviewed what the students have learned about adjectives. An adjective is a word that describes a noun. See the examples below! The students completed pages 1-4 in their packet to practice identifying adjectives. Then the students each created a visual for our adjective bulletin board. The students were each given a half sheet of paper. In the middle of the paper, they wrote their first name in big, bold, colorful letters. Then the students filled the half sheet with adjectives that describe them. The students had the following list of adjectives to look at for inspiration.
