We reviewed the first two types of pronouns and then learned about object pronouns. We went through several sentences and identified the direct objects. Homework: Finish direct object/object pronoun worksheet Warm Up: Rewrite each sentence. Classify (label) each sentence.
Lesson: We started class by playing pronoun musical chairs. We have learned about two types of pronouns so far - subject and possessive pronouns. I posted signs with both of these types all over the room. I read aloud a sentence and the students had to decide if it was a subject or possessive pronoun. When the music stopped, the students had to run to a sign with that type of pronoun. If they didn't make it to a sign, they were out! We played several rounds of pronoun musical chairs. During the second half of class, the students worked on their children's books. Homework: None Warm Up: None
