Then the students learned about subject pronouns. Subject pronouns are one of three of pronouns that we will learn about.
- A subject pronoun is a pronoun that replaces the subject noun. For example:
- The teacher taught the class. The subject noun is "teacher."
- She taught the class. The subject pronoun "she" replaces the subject noun "teacher."
We went over several examples in class and practiced replacing subject nouns with pronouns. The students practiced writing sentences with subject pronouns on page 2 of their pronoun packet.
