- Turn it into a simile.
Lesson: We learned about our last figurative language term - metaphors! We went over several examples in class. We practiced turning metaphors into similes and similes into metaphors, as they are very similar. The students worked on the metaphor practice page in their figurative language packet. If they did not finish it in class, it is homework!
