The students wrote the definition and examples of idioms in their figurative language packet. The students also completed the idiom practice page in their figurative language packet. The students were also introduced to the idiom poster they will work on tomorrow. The students were the given the sheet below. For their poster, the students must:
- Write the idiom
- Explain the actual meaning of the phrase
- Illustrate the literal meaning of the idiom
- Use the idiom in a sentence
