- My family likes to go camping every summer. We like to sit under the bright stars shining through the dark sky. We like to listen to the chirping crickets and the crackling fire. Sticky marshmallows on melted chocolate fill our hungry tummies. At night, we snuggle in our warm, cozy sleeping bags and tell scary stories until we fall asleep.
Lesson: Today the students practiced finding adjectives in sentences. The students completed pages 4-5 in their adjective and adverb packet. Then the students each created a visual for our adjective bulletin board. The students were each given a half sheet of paper. In the middle of the paper, they wrote their first name in big, bold, colorful letters. Then the students filled the half sheet with adjectives that describe them. The students had the following list of adjectives to look at for inspiration.
