Lesson: Today the students learned about a new type of figurative language - onomatopoeia! An onomatopoeia is a word that resembles the sound it represents, like crash, bang, smash, and squeak. The students wrote the definition and examples in their figurative language packet. Then the students completed the onomatopoeia practice page.
