Lesson: Today we revisited each of Harris Burdick's pictures. See yesterday's post for a more detailed description of this story. As a class, we brainstormed story ideas for one of the pictures. The students wrote their ideas in their composition notebook. They brainstormed nouns and adjectives that would be a part of the plot-line. Additionally, the students brainstormed verbs and adverbs that would also be a part of the story. Tomorrow we will use these ideas to brainstorm a sequence of events. The students will begin writing their own stories on Thursday!
