Lesson: Today we practiced finding adjectives and adverbs in sentences. We began class by doing the Adverb Hunt on P. 57 in their workbooks. The students had to read through the paragraph on this page and circle all 12 adverbs in the paragraph. We went over the answers and I gave a signature on their PBIS cards for every student that found all 12! Then the students were given a two page packet to review adjectives and adverbs. To download a copy of this, please see the file below. In this packet, the students were given sentences with adjectives and adverbs. They had to find the word in the sentence and follow the three step process to see if the word was an adjective or an adverb. We will correct this first thing tomorrow.
Homework: Finish the adjective and adverb packet (don't do the last page!)
