Warm Up: We finished editing the practice letter from yesterday. Then the students began editing their own rough draft. They used an editing PowerPoint that walked them through multiple editing and revising tasks. Using a colored pen, they revised their letter according to each editing task. We will continue editing in class tomorrow.

Homework: I challenged each student to have at least one other person read their paper. They are welcome to have a teacher, peer, family member, or parent read through and revise with them.
