Lesson: Today in class, we learned about sequence of events. We used page 8 in our Personal Narrative packets as a reference. For a copy of the packet, visit the LA Resources tab. As a class, we discussed what sequence of events means. To practice writing a sequence of events, we came up with a list of steps for making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We listened to the story, Where the Wild Things Are and practiced writing out the sequence of events. The students listed all the events that happened before, during, and after the main event in the story. We will write out the sequence of events for our own personal narrative topics tomorrow in class.
