Lesson: Today the students learned about the history of the Caribbean. We read chapter 3.3 in the textbook. As we read the text, the students completed a note-taker. Lesson: Today the students took a test about Central America's history. Homework: None Warm Up: Match each cause to the correct effect. Match the number to the letter.
Lesson: Today the students used their notes to complete a timeline abut Central America's history. See the timeline below! They glued this timeline in their notebook. We also did some role-playing scenarios. We discussed each event, and how different groups of people felt about this event. The students had to defend both sides of the argument.

Lesson: Today the students completed a cause and event activity. Click here to see the PowerPoint that I used with this activity. As a class, the students practiced identifying the cause and effect of important events in Central America's history. In groups, the students received cause and effect cards. They matched each cause to each effect and recorded these in their notebook. Homework: None |
