Lesson: Today the students watched a video about Machu Picchu, an Aztec city in the Andes mountains. The students wrote notes on a lined sheet of paper that they titled "Interesting Facts about the Incas." They had to write down at least 10 facts. We will share these next week! Lesson: Today the students learned about this history of Pacific South America. The students took notes in their South America history packet. Lesson: Today we worked on a review guide as a class. The students will have a test over South America's geography, climate, and natural resources tomorrow in class! Homework: Study Warm Up:
Lesson: Today we did an activity to review the physical features in South America. I used this PowerPoint for the activity. Each slide had a riddle with clues. The students had to read the clues to figure out which physical feature I was talking about. The students had a worksheet that they used to complete the clues and guess the answer to the riddle. They turned the worksheet in at the end of class. Homework: None |
