Lesson: Today the students learned about the "Who, When, and Where?" of South America. Each student had a partially completed worksheet about the important people, places, and events in South America's history. I had facts taped to the wall and the students explored these facts gallery style and completed their worksheet. Homework: Study for test on Friday Warm Up:
Lesson: Today the students learned about this history of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. The students took notes in their history packet. After reading and taking notes, we watched a short video clip about the Nazca lines, pre-Colombian geoglyphs in southern Peru. Click here to watch the video clip. We also watched some short video clips to learn about the life of an Argentinian gaucho: Homework: Finish notes Today the students without missing work received a reward and got to watch a movie during 7th and 8th mod. All students with missing assignments used this time to catch up!
