Lesson: Today we did an activity to review the physical features in South America that we have learned about. I used this PowerPoint for this activity. Each slide had a riddle with clues. The students had to read the clues to figure out which physical feature I was talking about. The students had a worksheet that they used to complete the clues and guess the answer to the riddle. Lesson: Today the students read chapter 5.1 in their textbooks - Atlantic South America. Then the students took notes on a note-taker that they glued in their composition notebooks. Homework: Finish notes Today and tomorrow, the students will listen to Hills Bank speakers during Mod 7.

Lesson: First we corrected their note-takers from yesterday. Then the students practiced the geography vocabulary by writing geography riddles. The students were placed in small groups and were each given a geography term. They had to write clues about their geography term and get the rest of the class to guess their term. Lesson: Today the students read Chapter 4.1, "Caribbean South America Physical Geography." We read the chapter aloud as a class and then the students took notes in their composition notebooks. I gave them a four column note-taker where they jotted notes about the physical features, wildlife, climate, and natural resources in this region. Homework: Finish notes Warm Up: Answer the following questions.
